Synopsis
When everyone was busy creating an app for things like washing down your loo,
Out of the blue someone created an app for love too,
But love… it just can’t happen without people two…
Or maybe more, what say you?
So, here’s an app, TALLI TUESDAY,
For the crazy ones and the desperate ones,
And the lonely ones too,
The app which lets you meet a few new,
So, come and see who’s the one for you!
Hey this app fixes a meeting too, but what about the place?
An uncle or aunt going out for a day or two?
If not, we have opened a bar too,
with free shots and drinks on the rocks,
Full focus on the person you want to woo!

AMITOSH NAGPAL
National School of Drama graduate, actor, writer & director. Nominated for the National Award for the lyrics for the film Oye Lucky, Lucky Oye.
Woody Allen once said, “I don’t know what I’m doing, but my incompetence has never stopped my enthusiasm.” This is a mantra for my life; it gives not so gifted people the courage to follow the dream they have and find humour in the little things around them.
Wherever I move my observation, social media, pubs, or a decent park, everyone is indulged in talking about the relationship they have, and when you look at it from a third person’s perspective, you find it funny and relatable too.
Relationships today are more comical than circus. When I hear people’s weird and hilarious experiences of different kinds of relationships in the world of Facebook, Tinder, WhatsApp, etc., I find a kind of humour and satire in it. When it comes to comedy, we can say it’s an era of stand-ups, so I have tried to incorporate the madness of stand-ups in between a man and a woman who are drunk.
